Glenn Heller's Hunters Welcomes You
Making Hunters dreams come true!
At Glenn Heller's Hunters we’re raising funds to start a foundation at Karmanos Hospital to help someone else family member fight lung cancer and give one ill hunters, or a disabled veteran per year, the opportunity to hunt. Marissa's deer farm has agreed to give these hunters, with their families supporting them an opportunity to get their dream deer and make memories which their family can cherish forever. Also see our Facebook page Glenn Heller's Hunters.

A Bit of Background
Here at Glenn Heller's Hunters, we are driven by a single goal; to make a difference in someone's life. On December 5th 2020 I lost my Dad, Glenn Heller, to lung cancer after a 4 year battle. My Dad has always been an avid hunter and enjoyed teaching his kids , grandchildren, and nephews at our family property. In the last year of his life he wanted to get his trophy whitetail deer, so at Marissa's Deer Farm his dream came true. My brother, uncle, and my dad's best friend got to join in on this adventure with him. Dad was so proud and the family will have these memories to hold onto for the rest of their lives. After his death I have struggled to find something to keep his memory alive and to make another person's dream come true. The non profit will give that opportunity to one ill or disabled hunter to bag that trophy buck a year.
Ways We Help
The work we do at this Non-profit is to raise money through donations and fundraisers to give those people who are paying for treatments and medications the financial means of daring to dream.
How To Become One of Our Hunters
If you know of someone who would like this opportunity, please send an email letter and a letter from the hunters doctor stating the disease and their ability to go on this hunt. We would love to send everyone on this hunt, but we are limited to one hunter a year depending on the amount of money raised and donations received we will also be contributing to Karmano’s Hospital Glenn Hellers lung cancer foundation. The first hunter will be hunting in the fall of 2022. Date for 1st hunter is October 13th-16th 2022.

Our first hunter!
Al W. Is a 50 years old disabled veteran, he served our country for over 20 years.
He has been on multiple tours overseas. Al was granted a medical retirement due to chemical exposure which has caused his arteries to deteriorate, he has had to have 4 stents 2 in each leg to able him to walk again, next he will be having surgery on carotid artery and stents placed in his arms. Al also suffers from PTSD and nightmares. Al and his wife Melissa have been married for 25 years. While Al is going through all his medical problems his wife Melissa is fighting stage 4 small cell lung cancer with has metastasized to her bones and liver. Al and Melissa live on a small farm in Michigan. They have a daughter and son. 5 grandkids 4 girls and 1 boy. Al lives for hunting with his family including his brothers, fishing and ice fishing with his son in law. My brother and I really enjoyed spending our time getting to know Al and hunting with him. I hope he enjoyed his hunt as much as we enjoyed watching him get his deer.
